The Johnson's. I could leave it there but for those of you that don't know them, well I feel bad for you! The loveliest bunch of people you're ever likely to meet.

Set in the quiet village of Horndon-on-the-Hill, this was the perfect setting for a vintage/country style wedding.

The ceremony took place in Horndon's only church, the Church of St Peter and St Paul, which dates from the 13th century and is Grade I listed. While the Groom and his wedding party made their own short walk to the Church, the beautiful bride arrived in a VW camper van to walk down the tree lined pathway to the church entrance.

When the ceremony finished all of the guests made their way on foot to the Ostlers restaurant to continue the celebrations. Situated at High House, recently refurbished and added to the outstanding Bell Inn. High House also has buckets of character and was once home to the founder of Vincent motorcycles, Phillip Vincent.

This was a wedding that communicated a strong sense of family - this might have been small in scale but there was a huge amount of love, laughter and a good old fashioned cockney sing song! I loved the relaxed atmosphere of this wedding, I felt privileged to photograph it and to be a part of it. Congratulations H + J !

Horndon-on-the-Hill really was a commendable host for this wedding.
